About this Class
In this free workshop, participants will learn how to use transparent watercolor layers to create depth and dimension through color and contrast. The focus will be on negative space painting around shapes to define form and balance a composition. Using natural materials such as leaves and branches as subjects, participants will explore techniques for building clean edges, soft transitions, and visual interest through layered washes. Pre-registration required, ages 14+.
