A Celebration of Native American Art & Culture brings together the voices, stories, and creative expressions of local tribal elders and artists in collaboration with the Stillwater Senior Center. What began as an invitation for elders to share their artistry has grown into a vibrant, intergenerational collection of works that honor heritage, memory, and the healing power of creativity.

This exhibits celebrates the many ways art connects people to their history, their community, and themselves. From found-object baskets and handcrafted tools to inherited works of fine art and personal cultural items, each piece reflects the spirit of resilience and the continuation of tradition through time.

The variety within the galleries – eclectic, unexpected, and personal – mirrors the living nature of culture itself. It reminds us that creative expression is not fixed in one form or generation, but continually renewed through shared experience, teaching, and care.
